Professional training

The Centre for Agricultural Vocational Training and Development (CFPPA) offers many training courses :

 

- qualifying training, relatively long (6 to 18 months) from CAPA to BTSA (Agricultural HNC) ;

 
- short training courses, which bring an additional qualification to the trainee in a specific area ;


- training with an integrative objective offered to the struggling people, practical and professional know-how (Penitentiary - Penitentiary service of Integration and Probation (SPIP); Kourou Integration Project around the lake Bois Chaudat).

Brevet de Responsable d'Exploitation Agricole (BP REA)

Il permet d’acquérir les connaissances techniques et de gestion de l’entreprise nécessaires au métier de chef d’exploitation agricole.


Cette formation - de niveau IV - est indispensable pour s’insérer dans un parcours d’installation en agriculture.
L’obtention du BP REA est obligatoire pour obtenir la Dotation Jeunes Agriculteurs pour les futur(e)s exploitant(e)s né(e)s après 1976.

 

Conditions d'accès à la formation

 

  1. Avoir plus de 18 ans.

  2. Pouvoir justifier de l’équivalent d’une année d’activité professionnelle à temps plein dans le secteur agricole et de trois années pour les autres secteurs.

  3. Avoir obtenu un diplôme (ou titre) de niveau V (CAP, ...), soit avoir suivi un cycle complet de BEP Agricole.

  4. Etre admis(e) aux tests d’entrée (mathématiques, expression-communication, entretien de motivation).

 

 

The financial partners of continuing education are :


- the Region of Guiana and Europe (European Social Fund), for the Professional training, under the sectoral program and the young program : CAPA Rural Environment Services, BTSA Agricultural Development in Warm Areas, CS Farm products,… for anyone having no available rights ;

         

 

- the VIVEA, finances the training for the farmers approved by the AMEXA: Training certificate with the transport of live animals, phytosanitary products application… These are mainly training courses made at the farmers’ request ;

 

- the FAFSEA, organization which finances the continuing education of the agricultural and para-agricultural employees ;

 

 

- the CNFPT (National Center for the management of territorial service ), which finances the training of the employees of the local communities (town halls,…) ;

 

 

- requests for financing can be addressed to AGEFOS SME, the FONGECIF, by the nonagricultural employees ;

     

 

-social Welfare recipients and job-seekers can obtain financial aids from the Departmental Agency of Integration (ADI), the Local mission Region of Guiana (MLRG) and Pôle Emploi (France's equivalent of the Job Centre) ;

              

 

- finally, for the implementation of the Rural Development Programme of Guiana (PDRG), PO FEADER and the Region of Guiana all finance qualifying professional education that the CFPPA carries out with the farmers of the remote communities (East Guiana, High Maroni), which have difficulties in accessing other Training programmes.
